My name is Alex, and I created this website to push myself to better understand the technologies I use.

It is easy today to copy, paste, and move on without really knowing how something works. This site is my way of slowing that process down. I use it to document what I learn, explain technical concepts in plain language, and build a deeper understanding of the tools, systems, and ideas I work with.

My goal is also to share that knowledge with people I know so they can better understand how to build resilient systems. I care about learning things properly, not just getting them to work once.

This website is part notebook, part learning tool, and part resource for others.
